OUR HISTORY

Tezpur Mahila Samiti was founded with a vision to empower women and uplift communities in the vibrant town of Tezpur. The organization was born out of a small group of dedicated women who recognized the urgent need for social change and empowerment among the marginalized sections of society, particularly women and children.

Early Years

The seeds of Tezpur Mahila Samiti were sown in the early 1980s, at a time when the region was grappling with various socio-economic challenges.
